Nora began practicing yoga in 2005 after years of gymnastics and dance had taken their toll. She soon realized yoga offered the movement she loved (and the stillness she didn’t know she would love so much), but also that her time on the mat helped a once professional worrier quiet her mind. After seeing the benefits of a regular practice, she began sharing yoga through teaching in 2014.
With a belief that yoga can be both transformative and fun, Nora’s teaching style is playful yet balanced, and she aims to provide students with a space and opportunity to explore the mind/body connection while fostering a sense of curiosity and gratitude. As an avid music lover, you’ll often hear a wide selection of artists to enhance her classes, along with nuggets of wisdom from favorite writers and poets.
Off the mat, Nora enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, traveling, reading, laughing, gardening, and cooking for friends and family.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
